:: Action Scripting II ::

In this project, I tried to integrate the idea of nature and the habitat of bugs. Initially, you select one of the bugs and then enter a little nature 'game' room. Once in the room, you can move the leaves onto the flower, rub the stamen, and even move the other insects around. All of the commands of On-Press, On-Release, On-Release Outside, Rollover, Rollout, Drag-Over, and Drag-Out have been applied to this piece.

Some nice pieces on your board, but i think now that you have the action script down you can "blossom" with this project. Make something happen when you pollenate or different bugs go to different screens.

Just a thought

Your animations and code work well together. I might find another place for your onRollOver code though, the spinning bug and flower seem like they are just thrown in.

Do the leaves have actions to them? When I mouse over, it seems like they are buttons but have no functions.

I still get stuck on your dragonfly's wing. I wonder what the deal is with that part.

Excellent use of actionscript and art direction to create a unified piece. Consider how you could use actionscript to manipulate multiple objects at once.... maybe having the flower close up or sprout more petals when the bee runs into it or something. There is a lot of potential here for many different interactions between the bee, the leaves, and the flowers.

you used all the mouse events i see how it could be connected to a habitat. In the beginning where is says to "click on me" i would like to see them sorta competing... "click on me", "no click on me first"
